Many doctors recommend a kit that includes the very effective anti-nausea medication ondansetron. The downside is it is also a prescription medication so you'll need three prescriptions instead of two.
DAY 1 - TAKE MIFEPRISTONE. Swallow the 200mg mifepristone.
DAY 2 - TAKE PAIN MEDS, ONDANSETRON & MISOPROSTOL. Take pain medication and anti-nausea 30-60 minutes before misoprostol.
Take One 4mg ondansetron anti-nausea tablet (10 included)
CHOOSE ONE of the following pain medication options:
Up to four 200mg ibuprofen (15 included in the kit)
or
Up to two 250mg naproxen
or
Up to two 500mg acetaminophen
Take more pain and anti-nausea medication as needed after taking the mifepristone.
MISOPROSTOL. Timing and dosage varies based upon the time since last period. See the M+A Fact Sheet for details.
More information on Mifepristone and Misoprostol is available at the National Institute of Health's website.
